Don’t Miss the Bus
Prison Blues, Brews and Catholic School
Join the Roamin’ Catholics on Saturday June 14th for our next adventure. Leaving Nifong Park promptly at 2:15 p.m. the bus stops first at the Missouri State Penitentiary. During a two hour private tour you will learn the history of the prison, it’s infamous inmates, as well as the famous riot of 1954.
The next stop will be at a local Jefferson City mico-brewery, Prison Brews. We will have a delicious dinner and you will be able to sample their local products.
The bus will then return us to Nifong Park where we will watch Nunsense II at the Maplewood Barn Theater. The play is outdoors so don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs. You may also bring food and drinks (including alcohol).
The price for this adventure is $44 per person. Dinner at Prison Brews is on your own. Checks made payable to Sacred Heart Church.
Please contact Ron or Colleen Meyer with questions or to make reservations at 573-445-2270 or email@example.com. Hope you can join us.
