Our Lady of Guadalupe
You won’t want to miss this year’s celebration of Our Lady on December 10. We will begin with an outdoor procession on Paquin Street at 12:30 p.m., singing and honoring Our Lady we process into church for the 1 p.m. Spanish Mass.
A special feature this year will be a folkdance group from Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Branson, MO, La Libertad. They will perform various Aztec and Mexican folkdances after mass in the Activity Building. And of course, we will enjoy delicious food as well.
On December 12, the actual day of the universal church celebration, the day begins with morning songs to Mary a 5 a.m. (yes, 5a.m.!) in the church. This is followed by a delicious Mexican breakfast in the Activity Building.
All are invited to celebrate as one parish our devotion to Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
